SKILL COMPETENCY DETAILS:

On successful completion of this course, the trainee should be able to:-

1. Smear all safety precautions, personal and equipment.
2. Apply Basic information about marble
3. Use, sharpen and set common hand tools e.g. measuring, marking and planning tools.
4. Measure and cut the tile to given size
5. Construct the floor base for Tiling.
6. Maintaining and Facing the Tile Joints.
7. Use spirit level and plumb line for maintaining structural alignment
8. Erect tiles vertically and inclined position.
9. Make centering for arches before tiling.
10. Erect tiling at any height for construction work
11. Operate tile cutting machine easily.
12. Practice basic art for tile designing work.
13. Use latest techniques in tile processing
14. Design and fix tile pieces in-Lays
15. Be capable of using cutting, grinding and polishing machines

KNOWLEDGE PROFICIENCY DETAILS:-

On successful completion of this course, the trainee should be able to:-

1. Gain insight into the Mason Marble &Tiling job role and its career prospects
2. Know general introduction to job role, role of a Mason Marble & Tiling in
   construction industry along with the future possible career development provisions
3. Learn laying and fixing tiles / marbles both horizontally & vertically on wall and
   floor
4. Describe the Make Tile / Marble In-Lays
5. Learn selection and use of tools for measuring, marking, cutting, laying and fixing
   marbles and tiles as per standard procedure.
6. Comprehend and apply grouts and sealants for flooring and cladding works which includes selection and use of different tools, equipment, grouts and sealants for sealing joints and finishing of flooring and cladding works.
7. Know to work effectively in a team to deliver desired results at the workplace
8. Plan and organize work to meet expected outcomes
9. Interpret according to personal health, safety and environment protocol at
   construction site.
10. Express the method of erecting timbering for trenches
11. Explain the different types of joints and their uses
12. Interpret all safety rules and precautions for personal and equipment
13. Explain the material wastage
14. Describe Handling of Cuuting and polishing machines

Tile Fixer

Tile & Marble Cutting Lab.

To cut the Marble and tiles pieces into entire shape,
Design and sizes. Proper cutter should be installed
at proper place for practices.

Construction Yard

To prepare new concrete and mortor for tiles. Curing for tiles
(Construction tools may be supply and stored in this Lab.)
